According to latest statistics, the count of people aged 100 and above in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the total of men aged 100 or over has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the identical period, the count of female individuals reaching 100 nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
