Man Utd head coach Ruben Amorim confesses he cannot conceal from his troubling statistics and states it is understandable that club icons are commenting on him.
Earlier this week, United's all-time goalscorer Wayne Rooney told his program that "the soul has disappeared" from his former club.
The Portuguese manager has managed just eighteen wins from his forty-nine games in charge, including nine out of thirty-three in the English top flight, where he has yet to record two consecutive wins.
Despite the fact that high-level Old Trafford insiders are insistent that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still supportive Amorim, failure to defeat newly promoted their next opponents on the weekend will ignite renewed rumors about his role heading into the upcoming two-week international break.
"It is understandable," stated the Portuguese manager, when questioned about Rooney's observations. "You can't hide from the results."

Amorim promised supporters the circumstances would improve because he had additional opportunity to prepare with his squad without the midweek commitment of European competition.
That is not how the opening six matches have materialised as United have endured three defeats so far and find themselves fourteenth in the table.

When asked what promises he could provide followers that the situation will improve, Amorim continued: "It's not the time to speak, it is the moment to demonstrate."
