The Brazilian star Offers Sincere Sorry to Los Blancos Supporters
The forward has registered 5 finishes in 10 domestic competition outings so far this term.
Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his response when substituted in Sunday's heated Clasico clash triumph.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd minute and displayed his annoyance by heading directly to the dressing room.
Vinicius eventually reappeared to the bench and, after his team's 2-1 win, sought to engage the opposition's Lamine Yamal during contentious final whistle scenes.
"Now I want to express regret to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was taken off in the Clasico," he shared on his account.
"Similarly to I have said in person during this morning's training, I would like to express regret anew to my colleagues, the team, and the president.
"Sometimes fervor gets the better of me because I constantly desire to win and support my side. My determined nature comes from the affection I feel for this club and each thing it symbolizes."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from Brazil in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has scored 111 goals in 335 appearances.
But his future in the Spanish capital is uncertain with reports in the past few months indicating that Real would consider allowing the young star move on if they got a suitable offer.
When the winger was substituted on that day, broadcast footage from network the service captured him saying: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's preferable if I depart, I'm moving on."
In his latest post on social media, Vinicius stated: "I promise to keep fighting at all times for the benefit of the club, as I have acted since the initial arrival."
